Tension fabric buildings
A tension fabric building, also known as a fabric structure or building, is constructed using a lightweight and flexible membrane material, typically made of polyester fabric coated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene. The structural framework of a tension fabric building is made of steel or aluminum, and it consists of arches, trusses, or rigid frames.
Space frame structures
A space frame structure is a form of lightweight construction used in architecture and engineering. It consists of a three-dimensional framework of interconnected members, typically made of steel or aluminum, that work together to provide structural support. Space frame structures are known for their high strength-to-weight ratio, which makes them suitable for large-span and column-free spaces.
Prefabricated frame-supported structures
A prefabricated frame-supported structure refers to a construction method where the primary structural elements of a building or structure are manufactured off-site in a factory and then assembled on-site. The structure is typically supported by a frame system consisting of pre-engineered components, such as beams, columns, and trusses, that are manufactured and pre-cut to precise dimensions.
