Liverpool Merida Galerias Mall

An extension for the Liverpool Merida Galerias shopping mall in Yucatan, Mexico, features a 20,000 sqft PTFE cone structure with a flying mast supported by cables and a single-layer ETFE film cone top covering. A PTFE-coated fiberglass membrane is not only long-lasting and low maintenance but is also Class A fired-rated, providing lots of natural daylighting and protection from the hot Mexican sun. The renovation includes an indoor and heated restaurant area with a pleasant atmosphere different from the rest of the shopping center and ample premises for fashion shops.
