Providing shape and form, our team understands how superior steel fabrication for our design-build tensile membrane structures and facades is important for not only the signature aesthetics a fabric structure delivers, but also critical to the lifespan and integrity of the project. Our engineering team are highly skilled and experienced, utilizing specialized software for analysis and determining the proper member sizing and connection details that go into the final fabrication and assembly of the structural steel framing system. With one of the largest roll bender machines available and in combination with state-of-the-art tools and equipment, Big Span is staffed with AWS welders meeting the required US and International standards for steel manufacturing. After manufacturing is completed, our plant capabilities includes two free-standing sandblasting and paint booths to create a beautiful finish to the fabricated steel.
